Plan & Billing in Reorbit

Reorbit's founding plan is free — no card, no trial clock, every feature included. What changes if a plan lapses, how to resubscribe, and how Shopify bills.

What the plan costs, what it includes, and exactly what changes if the subscription stops.

The short version

Reorbit’s founding plan is free. There’s no card to enter, no trial clock counting down, and no feature held back behind a higher tier — everything in the app is included.

Reorbit is still billed through Shopify, which means there’s a subscription contract on your store even though it carries no charge. Because that contract lives with Shopify, approving it, changing plan, and cancelling all happen on Shopify’s own plan page rather than inside Reorbit. The Plan & billing screen in Reorbit shows you where you stand and takes you there.

Where to find it

From the app, go to Settings → Plan & billing. You’ll see:

What’s on the screen What it tells you
Status Your plan’s state, straight from Shopify.
Manage plan / Subscribe Opens Shopify’s plan page for your store.
Refresh Re-checks your plan with Shopify. Useful right after you’ve approved or changed a plan.

The plan page opens at the top level of your browser, outside the embedded app. That’s expected — it’s Shopify’s page, not ours.

Getting your plan in place

On Home, before you have a plan, you’ll see a card inviting you to choose one. Click Choose a plan, approve it on Shopify’s page, and come back. If the status hasn’t caught up, click Refresh.

Approving doesn’t charge you anything — the founding plan is free. It’s what puts a subscription contract in place so the app can run.

What happens if the plan lapses

A subscription can stop for reasons that aren’t “I’m leaving” — a plan change that takes a moment to settle, or a contract that got cancelled on Shopify’s side. So Reorbit’s rule is simple:

Building freezes. Your data stays. Nothing is deleted, and everything stays readable.

Still works Frozen
Reviews — reading, replying, moderating Creating or editing earn rules
Customers, their points and history Creating or editing rewards
Products and their review performance VIP tiers and referrals
Home Automated messages and review moderation settings
Settings, and Plan & billing Connecting integrations

Your reviews, customers and points history stay exactly where they are. What stops is adding to what your store owes its shoppers — because a program that keeps making promises while nothing is holding it up is a problem for you, not just for us.

Resubscribe and everything unfreezes.

Cancelling

Cancel from Shopify’s plan page — the same page Manage plan opens. Your store keeps its Reorbit data, and the app moves into the frozen state described above.

Tips and best practices

  • Set the program up properly before you launch it. Build the program, put the widgets live, and get a purchase-to-review cycle underway. Test it end to end.
  • Click Refresh, don’t reinstall. If the app looks frozen right after you’ve subscribed, the plan status simply hasn’t been re-read yet.
  • Check Shopify’s plan page if the app freezes unexpectedly. A cancelled or lapsed contract on Shopify’s side looks exactly like a cancellation from inside the app.

Nothing. Reorbit’s founding plan is free, with every feature included. Your current plan is shown on Shopify’s plan page — open it with Manage plan from Settings → Plan & billing.

Is there a trial I need to watch?

No. There’s no trial countdown and no date at which something starts costing money. The founding plan is simply free.

Do I need to enter a card?

No. Reorbit is billed through Shopify, and the founding plan carries no charge, so there is nothing to pay and no payment details to add for Reorbit itself.
