Adding Reorbit to Your Storefront
Turn on the loyalty launcher and the review widgets in your Shopify theme. Where each block goes, what every setting does, and how to match them to your theme.
Your rules, rewards and reviews are invisible to shoppers until the widgets are switched on in your theme. Nothing in the Reorbit admin does this for you. It takes about five minutes in the theme editor.
What you’re adding
Reorbit ships three blocks for your theme. They’re independent — add the ones you want.

Joining the program is part of the loyalty widget — a signed-in shopper who hasn’t joined yet sees a consent card at the top of the panel, and a reminder above the ways to earn. There’s no separate block to place for it.
Before you start
- Reorbit must be installed, with an active plan.
- Work on a duplicate of your theme if you’d rather preview before publishing. Everything below is done in the theme editor, so it’s reversible either way.
Step-by-step: add the loyalty launcher
The loyalty widget is an app embed, which means it isn’t placed in a section — you switch it on once and it appears on every page.
1. Open the theme editor
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2. Turn on the app embed
In the left sidebar, open App embeds (the toggle icon at the bottom). Find Loyalty Rewards Widget and switch it on.
3. Set it up
Click the block to open its settings:

4. Save
Click Save in the theme editor. The launcher appears on your storefront immediately.
Step-by-step: add the review widgets
These two are app blocks, added into your product template like any other section.
1. Open your product template
In Customize, use the template picker at the top of the screen to switch to Products → Default product.
2. Add the Reviews Summary near the price
Click Add block inside the product information section, choose Reviews
Summary, and drag it under your product title or price. It draws one line —
4.6 ★★★★★ (12) — and where the page also carries the Reviews Widget, clicking
it scrolls down to the reviews.

The line takes its size and colour from the theme text it sits in, so it matches whatever you drop it under.
3. Add the Reviews Widget lower down
Click Add section, choose Reviews Widget, and drag it below your product details. Settings:

4. Save
Click Save. Open a product page on your storefront to check both blocks look right.
Where shoppers join the program
Joining is built into the loyalty widget — there’s nothing extra to place.
A signed-in shopper who hasn’t joined yet sees a consent card at the top of the panel, with a tick box and your own wording, and a short reminder above the ways to earn explaining that points don’t count until they join. Once they join, both disappear.
You control the wording in the theme editor, on the loyalty widget’s Enrollment consent settings:

Ticking the box is what records consent, so it’s always unticked to begin with and the Join now button stays greyed out until the shopper ticks it.
Tips and best practices
- Match my theme is the right default. Both widgets can inherit your theme’s shapes and colours, which nearly always looks better than a colour picked in isolation.
- Summary high, list low. Shoppers want the star rating next to the price and the actual reviews below the fold.
- Check the launcher on mobile. A Large pill in the bottom-right corner can land on top of a sticky add-to-cart bar.
- Preview on a duplicated theme if your store is busy, then publish once you’re happy.
FAQ
I created earn rules but nothing shows on my storefront.

Does the loyalty widget appear on every page?
Yes. It’s an app embed, so once it’s on it floats on your whole storefront rather than sitting in one template.
Why can’t a logged-out shopper see their points?
Balances, referral links and redemption belong to a customer account. Logged-out visitors see the program and how to join.
The Refer a friend card isn’t showing.
It stays hidden until you have an active referral rule. (See Setting Up Referrals.)
Can I change the widget’s text?
