Klaviyo Loyalty and Reviews Integration
Connect Klaviyo to Reorbit so loyalty and review events trigger your Klaviyo flows. How to authorize, reconnect, disconnect, and what Klaviyo does for Reorbit.
Reorbit decides who to message and updates their Klaviyo profile with everything the message needs. The email itself is a flow you build in Klaviyo.
What connecting Klaviyo does
Once connected, Reorbit can push its loyalty and review events into Klaviyo and keep customer profiles up to date. Your Klaviyo flows then trigger off those events.
Connecting is the first half of the job. The second half is building the flow that sends — see How Review Requests Work.
Before you start
- A Klaviyo account you can log in to and authorize apps with.
- Ideally, decide which messages you want Klaviyo to deliver. You can change this per message afterwards under Delivery.
Step-by-step: connect Klaviyo
1. Open Integrations
From the app, go to Settings → Integrations.
2. Connect
In the Klaviyo section, click Connect. Reorbit opens Klaviyo in a new tab so you can authorize the connection.
3. Confirm it worked
Once you approve, you are returned to Reorbit and Klaviyo shows as Connected, along with the name of the Klaviyo account it is linked to.
4. Point a message at it
Go to Settings → Automated messages, open a message, and under Delivery choose Klaviyo. Save.
Managing the connection
| Action | When to use it | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Reconnect | After changing Klaviyo credentials, or if Reorbit warns that Klaviyo is refusing its requests | Runs the authorization again and refreshes the stored access. |
| Disconnect | You no longer want Reorbit talking to Klaviyo | Removes Klaviyo’s access from Reorbit and revokes the stored tokens with Klaviyo. |
⚠️ Disconnecting does not rewrite your messages. Any message still set to deliver through Klaviyo has nowhere to send until you reconnect or point it elsewhere.
Tips and best practices
- Connect before launching your retention triggers, so events have somewhere to go from the first send.
- Build the Klaviyo flow before switching a message to Klaviyo. Reorbit sends the event either way; without a flow, nothing reaches the customer.
- Reconnect after any Klaviyo account change rather than waiting for a delivery to fail.
FAQ
How do I know Klaviyo is connected?
The Klaviyo section shows Connected instead of a Connect button, with the linked account name.
What happens when I click Connect?
Klaviyo opens in a new tab to authorize access, then you are returned to Reorbit once it is approved.
I connected Klaviyo but no email arrived.
Reorbit sends the event; Klaviyo sends the email. Check that a Klaviyo flow exists and is live for that event, and that the message’s Delivery is set to Klaviyo.
Can I use Klaviyo for some messages and Omnisend for others?
Yes. Delivery is set per message, so different messages can use different providers.
Does disconnecting delete my data in Klaviyo?
No. It revokes Reorbit’s access. Anything already in Klaviyo stays in Klaviyo.
