The right message, to the right customer, at exactly the right moment

Sparks sends behavior-triggered notifications that coordinate across your reviews, loyalty program, and Klaviyo flows — so your customers hear from you when it matters, not just when it’s convenient.

Why Sparks exists

Most Shopify stores over-message. Sparks fixes that.

When your review request, loyalty reminder, and win-back email all fire independently, customers get bombarded — and they unsubscribe. Sparks gives you a single layer of coordination across all of Reorbit so every message is intentional.

Max touchpoints per week

Set a cap on how many Sparks messages any single customer receives in a 7-day window. No matter how many triggers fire, the cap holds — protecting your sender reputation and your customers’ inboxes.

Priority ordering

When a customer qualifies for multiple Sparks at once, they receive the one you’ve ranked highest. You decide what matters most — a review request, a loyalty reminder, or something else entirely.

Works through Klaviyo

Sparks doesn’t bypass your existing email setup. It fires events into Klaviyo so your flows handle delivery — meaning your brand voice, unsubscribe handling, and send times stay exactly as you’ve configured them.

What’s live now

Review Sparks — live and ready to set up

Two review-focused Sparks are available now during beta. They work together to maximize review collection without pestering customers who’ve already responded.

Review Request

Automatically ask customers for a product review after their order is fulfilled. You control which products are included or excluded, how many days after fulfilment the message fires, and how the email is laid out. Sparks checks your weekly touchpoint cap before sending — so it never fires if the customer has already heard from you that week.

Review Reminder

A single follow-up for customers who received a review request but haven’t left a review yet. Sends once, then stops — no repeated nudging that damages your brand relationship.

Loyalty Sparks — arriving during the beta

Three loyalty-focused Sparks are in development and will be available during the beta period. Join now to get early access when they launch.

Loyalty Welcome

Onboard new loyalty members with a warm introduction to their points balance and how to earn more — sent automatically when they join the program.

Points Reminder

Nudge customers who have unredeemed points toward their next purchase, timed to when they’re most likely to act.

Points Expiry Alert

Warn customers before their points expire — giving them a reason to come back before the deadline.

How it works

From trigger to inbox in four steps

01 An event fires

A customer receives their order, qualifies for a loyalty milestone, or hits another trigger you’ve configured. Sparks detects it instantly.

02 Sparks checks the rules

Before anything sends, Sparks checks the customer against your weekly touchpoint cap and your priority order. If they’ve already received a Spark this week, the message is held.

03 Klaviyo delivers it

If the message clears the rules, Sparks fires the event to Klaviyo and your flow handles delivery — in your brand voice, with your unsubscribe logic, at the send time you’ve set.

04 The loop continues

A review request leads to a review, which triggers bonus points in Gravity, which triggers a tier upgrade email. Sparks keeps every part of the retention loop connected.

Frequently Asked Questions About Sparks

What is Sparks by Reorbit?

Sparks is Reorbit’s smart notification layer for Shopify merchants. It sends behavior-triggered messages — like post-purchase review requests — through Klaviyo, with built-in controls to prevent over-messaging across your entire customer communication stack.

Do I need Klaviyo to use Sparks?

Yes. Sparks fires events into Klaviyo, which handles actual email delivery. This means your existing flows, brand templates, and unsubscribe preferences all stay intact. An active Klaviyo account is required during beta.

What Sparks are available right now?

Two Sparks are live during beta: Review Request (post-purchase review ask) and Review Reminder (a single follow-up for customers who haven’t responded). Loyalty Sparks — Welcome, Points Reminder, and Points Expiry — are coming after the beta period.

How does the weekly touchpoint cap work?

You set a maximum number of Sparks messages any customer can receive in a 7-day window. If a customer has already hit that cap, any additional Sparks that fire for them are held — they won’t receive them until the window resets. This protects your sender reputation and reduces unsubscribes.

Can I control which products trigger a Review Request Spark?

Yes. Each Review Request Spark lets you include or exclude specific products, set a minimum number of days after fulfilment before the message fires, and configure the email layout and campaign name.
