Getting Started with Reorbit

Your first steps: subscribe, let your store data sync, and set up your loyalty program, reviews, and messages.

What happens when you install Reorbit

When you install Reorbit, it begins importing your store data and preparing each part of the platform — loyalty, reviews, and Sparks. The Reorbit Home page shows your setup progress the whole way through.

Step-by-step: get set up

1. Subscribe

On Reorbit Home, if your plan is inactive you’ll see a Subscribe Now card with a 90-day free trial. Click Subscribe and approve the charge to unlock the app. (The approval page opens at the top level of the browser — that’s expected.)

2. Watch your setup progress

On Reorbit Home, the Setup Progress section shows an Overall status plus a card for each part of the platform:

TaskWhat it’s doing
Data SyncImporting your customers, orders, and products from Shopify.
LoyaltyPreparing your points program.
ReviewsPreparing your reviews system.
SparksPreparing automated messaging.

Each shows a status — Pending, In Progress, Completed, or Failed. Setup begins automatically; click Refresh to update the view. If anything shows Failed, the card displays the error.

3. Configure your program

Once setup completes, head to Configure to build out your program. A good order:

  1. Company Info — set your name, email, logo, and currency. (See Company Info & Branding.)
  2. Earn Rules — decide how customers earn points. (See Creating an Earn Rule.)
  3. Reward Rules — decide what points can be redeemed for. (See Creating a Reward Rule.)
  4. VIP Tiers, Referrals, Sparks, and Reviews Moderation — layer these on as you grow.

4. Manage day to day

From Reorbit Home, the Manage section links to:

  • Reviews — read and moderate customer reviews.
  • Customers — look up customers, their points, and activity.

Tips & best practices

  • Wait for Data Sync to finish before expecting points or reviews to appear — later steps depend on it.
  • Set Company Info first so everything customer-facing is on-brand from the start.
  • Start with a couple of earn rules and one reward — launch simple, then expand.
  • Use the 90-day trial to test your full program end to end before committing.

FAQ

How long does setup take? It runs automatically after install. Use the Refresh button on Setup Progress to see the latest status; larger stores take longer to sync.

A task says Failed — what do I do? The task card shows the error. Try Refresh; if it persists, reach out to support with the message shown.

Do I have to pay right away? No — Reorbit includes a 90-day free trial when you subscribe.

Where do I build my loyalty program? Under Configure, which groups Earn Rules, Rewards, Referrals, VIP Tiers, Sparks, Reviews, and more.
